Every Step Matters

Every step starts with a kind word and an open heart.
Everyone is welcome here, no exceptions.
Together we go further than we ever could alone.
Helping improve mental health, wellbeing and reduce loneliness through community, connection and the outdoors.
MindYourStepCo was born from a simple but powerful belief — that no one should have to struggle alone.
We are a UK community organisation dedicated to improving mental health, wellbeing and reducing loneliness by bringing people together through community walks, outdoor activities, events and meaningful human connection.
We know that loneliness can affect anyone. We know that mental health challenges do not discriminate. And we know that sometimes, all it takes is one walk, one conversation, one friendly face to change everything.
That is why everything we do is built around kindness, respect, compassion and creating opportunities for people to take life one step at a time.
Our vision is a future where every person — regardless of age, background, ability or experience — has a community to belong to, people to walk with and the support to live a healthier, happier life.
Don’t just take our word for it — here’s what our community have to say about MindYourStepCo.
Join us for a walk in nature. All abilities welcome. No pressure, no pace — just fresh air, friendly faces and good conversation.
We believe every step outside is a step towards belonging.
Where community, nature, and authentic connection walk hand in hand.
We approach every interaction with warmth and compassion.
Together we're stronger. We build connections that last.
Every step forward is progress. We believe in brighter days ahead.
In every shared laugh, every quiet moment beneath the trees, we nurture bonds that grow stronger with each journey outdoors together.
Every walk we run is free. Every event we organise is built around community. None of it happens without your support.
Your donation helps us keep walks free, fund mental health projects and reach more people who need connection.
We are currently fundraising for MIND Mental Health Charity — our goal is £400.
